Fiona Haldane | Seasons

3rd September- 1st October

Eduardo Alessandro Studios was established in 1978 to showcase established and emerging artistic talent primarily from Scotland.

We have been privileged to have shown the work of Fiona Haldane for the past 30 years as she has developed into arguably the most talented landscape artist working in pastels in Scotland. This collection of 12 new works  represents the artist’s recent travels to Skye and Glencoe, and her ongoing fascination with the Tay Estuary viewed from her home in Broughty Ferry.

Fiona Haldane

Fiona Haldane is widely recognised as the leading pastel landscape artist in Scotland. Born in Dundee, she attended Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, between 1975-79 and has exhibited professionally since 1996.

She is renowned for her powerful and atmospheric portrayals of the mountain landscapes of the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and evocative studies of the ever changing skies and shorelines around her home near the River Tay Estuary.

Fiona has staged a number of highly successful exhibitions, and her work is now enthusiastically collected throughout the UK and abroad and can be found in private collections worldwide.
