Eduardo Alessandro Studios was established in 1978 to showcase established and emerging artistic talent from Scotland. Now in our 41st year, we continue to highlight some of the best contemporary artists that our country has to offer.
During May we have the distinct privilege of hosting dual exhibitions featuring new works by Margaret Evans and George Noakes, both of whom have long associations with our gallery and each renowned for their powerful interpretations of the Scottish landscape.
George Noakes is a self-taught artist who has painted from a young age, encouraged by his grandfather.
Born and brought up in the West Midlands, George moved to Scotland to study pharmacology at the University of Dundee, where he developed his painting and exhibited with Eduardo Alessandro Studios where his work gained an enthusiastic following. George now lives in Dumfries and this current exhibition focusses on his love of the Scottish Highlands.
