Alister Lindsay

Born in Dundee, 1962.  Alister studied drawing & painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee between 1979 and 1983.  He was introduced to etching and printmaking while at college.  He won the Ian Eaddie Prize for landscape painting in 1983, the same year he joined the Dundee Printmakers Workshop.

Alister works primarily in oils, pastels or pencil and his subjects range from Scottish landscape and cityscape compositions, to the surreal.

Alister has exhibited extensively throughout Scotland since the 1980’s at many prominent venues, and has work in several private and corporate collections.
