Gina Wright
Gina is known for her paintings of Scotland and it’s wildlife. Working in oils, pastels, acrylics and watercolour from her studio overlooking the River Tay, she is a regular exhibitor with this gallery and at the Pittenweem Arts Festival.
A member of the Dundee Art Society, Gina displays a passion for her subject. “I love all aspects of the natural world around me and strive to capture moments in time through my art”

Gina is a full time professional artist working in pastels and oils to paint landscapes and nature. These paintings reflect her love of the Scottish landscape and capture its fleeting moods.
Gina is fortunate to have a choice of working from her north facing studio, overlooking the river Tay, or a south facing studio in Pittenweem, looking out to the Forth estuary. There are great opportunities to work ‘en plain air’ from both locations.
“I love all aspects of the natural world around me and strive to capture moments in time through my art. To fully realise my vision I use all painting mediums, however, I have found the immediacy of pastels and oils to be a great joy when I am captivated by a subject.”
