James Patterson

James Patterson is an artist from Dundee, Scotland. Now based in Spain, Patterson’s work is heavily inspired by their hometown in Scotland.

Known professionally by the name ‘Dima’, which is the Russian of his name John. Dima is a polymath working in a broad range of mediums and topics: portraits, people, pets, places, landscapes, abstracts or surreal.

Having been part of Art Societies in Dundee and Torrevieja where he now resides his references and influences from his surroundings are ever changing and help Patterson’s breadth of works and subject matter.
