Paola Cassais

Born in Florence in 1970, Paola was brought up by artistic parents and started her working life as an interior designer and window dresser. As an artist, she has always been inspired by local Italian landscapes and the interaction within the community.

In the nineties, she became interested in urban landscape, reducing it to a chromatic range of grey, blue and ochre that constitutes what has become known as “spaces of solitude”. Her paintings can be found in collections worldwide.
