Ross was born in 1980 in Dundee and studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art.

From traditionalist beginnings, Ross started to explore shape and colour and has now developed a distinctive and unique contemporary abstract style, working with acrylics and resin to create vibrant colour and glass-like surfaces.

“I enjoy exploring patterns and the relationship of bold and contrasting colours. My aim is to create a harmonious mosaic which captures the essence and recognisable features of my subject.”
