Kate Philp

Raised in Dundee, Kate lives in Berwickshire, and enjoys a strong following throughout Scotland. Having graduated from university with a degree in Biological Science, she travelled extensively throughout Europe, America and the southern hemisphere before turning her attention to her creative side, and quickly established an enthusiastic response towards her timeless and atmospheric depictions of the Scottish coasts and islands.

Working with equal success in acrylics, oils and watercolour, Kate demonstrates a lightness of touch and subtlety which characterizes her free and expressive style.
