Sarah Gordon

Based in Aberdeen, Sarah originally trained as a mechanical engineer.
Having always had a keen interest in sculpture, clay has become the perfect medium for Sarah allowing her to utilise her hands-on skills and develop her own unique design and style.

Taking inspiration from ancient pottery and the natural environment, all of her work is hand built using the traditional coiling technique. A majority of the pieces created are decorated with smoke being fired in either her raku kiln or garden incinerator bin.

Her earthy toned creations are all handcrafter and held in collections across the UK.
