Coloured lithograph prints by James McIntosh Patrick were first published in the 1930’s, encouraged by his growing reputation and rising demand for his work. Earlier etchings produced by the artist established his print market, and he was to continue until his death in 1997, to release limited edition lithographs which were enthusiastically and widely collected.
This collection includes several very rare and sought after signed editions.
James McIntosh Patrick OBE; LL.D; RSA was born on Dundee in 1907, and studied at Glasgow School of Art. Works by McIntosh Patrick are included within many municipal, corporate and major collections throughout the World, including The Tate Gallery and the Royal Family.
